Public Service Announcement (Experiences 2006 aka E2K6)

Dear all

We are currently seeking passionate and devoted individuals to organize Experiences 2006. ‘Experiences’ is an information fair organized by Singapore students (the E2K6 Committee – yes, you can be one of them!!) in US universities over the summer. The event which will be held in Singapore has 2 objectives: for current and past US university students to share their personal insights on the US education with prospective students, beyond what admissions booklets can offer, as well as to prepare incoming students for their initial experience in the United States. The E2K6 committee will comprise of 5 different sub-committees: Public Relations, Sponsorship, Logistics, Publicity and IT. The duties of each sub-committee is covered in more details in the attachment. Interested parties must

* Include your name, university, year, major and contact details
* Write a short paragraph stating your reasons for joining the E2K6
Committee
* Indicate your preferred committee position (Publicity,
Chairperson etc)
* Be in Singapore for the summer of 2006

Benefits of being on the Committee

* Pick up project management, leadership, and networking skills
* Get to know Singaporeans from other universities
* Spending your summer bringing together a large-scale event!!
